Adventures by Disney, often shortened to ABD, offers guided group vacations. You follow a planned itinerary with other guests, with Adventure Guides helping handle the details along the way.
For someone who wants to explore a new destination without organizing every hotel, transfer, and activity, that can be a big part of the appeal.
On a Land Adventure, your package includes accommodations, Adventure Guides, local experts, and the meals, transportation, and activities specified in your itinerary. Luggage service and certain gratuities are included, too.
The key phrase is “specified in your itinerary.” Read the daily details so you know exactly what your particular trip covers.
You’ll need to account for expenses beyond the trip price. Depending on your adventure, these can include flights to and from the destination, meals marked “on your own,” personal purchases, and travel protection.
Adventure Guide gratuities are an additional expense on Land Adventures. On ABD River Cruises, Adventure Guide and crew gratuities are included.
Yes! Adventures by Disney offers Adult-Exclusive departures for guests ages 18 and older.
If you’re considering a trip as a couple, with friends, or on your own, those departures are worth exploring.
Start with how you want to spend your vacation.
Do you enjoy having a schedule, or do you prefer deciding what to do each morning? Are you comfortable traveling with a group? Do the actual activities interest everyone in your party?
For families, check the itinerary’s minimum and recommended ages, along with the physical requirements. A destination might sound perfect while the daily schedule tells a different story.
