Since our parents had been doggy grandparents for so many long, we decided to upgrade them to human grandparents.
I mailed these onesies in tiny little envelopes since my parents were in Florida and his back in Kentucky. We Facetimed them and I recorded their reactions. Both sets of parents cried. I think my Mom was definitely shocked. I screen recorded the Facetimes but of course it didn’t capture the sound!!! So annoying!
Being away from our family in Alabama was not easy when sharing this news. But, we were actually in the process of moving back to Kentucky, which involved looking for a place to live…don’t get me started on looking for houses!
Since we only had a few more months of living in Alabama, we decided to take advantage of being 2 hours from our favorite place, Seaside, FL. My husband and I would go down, get some food, walk on the beach, and just relax. The beach is my happy place. We also would occasionally go to The Red Bar, they have the best food. Here you can see me enjoying a non-alcoholic beverage.
I’m pretty sure this wast my first time drinking San Pallegrino, it was yummy.
We were also invited to a wedding. I of course was not drinking. Thankfully people didn’t seem to question it. I think maybe one or two people knew at the time. I posted this picture on social media. Not everyone knew, but I feel like I look about halfway through my pregnancy here 😂 We later found out that people suspected from this picture, guess it’s that pregnancy glow.
